Shafik Sachedina serves as the head of Jamati Institution Department at Secretarial in Aiglemont, France. His role is to organize events for Ismaili community exclusively. Shafik Sachedina is a graduate of Guy’s Hospital and Dental School. He completed his undergraduate studies in 1975 after which he directly began practicing in England. He has successfully secured several other positions in the entire Ismaili community including being involved in Aga Khan Development Network Committee, Leader’s International Forum members, and Ismaili Council president for the United Kingdom among other posts.

Sussex Healthcare was founded in 1985, and since then it has continually expanded its existence with more than 20 additional facilities under the same management.

Shafik Sachedina was born and raised in Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania. Having graduated, he extensively embarked on his career as a dental surgeon to bring a difference in the field. One of the programs includes the Graduate Programme in Ismaili Studies and Humanities. This program takes three years with an ultimate goal of helping students attain a research degree leading to excellent career opportunities in life later. The second program is referred to as Secondary Teacher Education Program that takes two years. The intention is to offer chances to aspiring teachers to operate in a teaching environment among the Institutes’ secondary curriculum spread through the Ismaili students.
